Join Us for Worship!

Our worship service begins Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. We are located at 1017 Elliott Avenue (at the corner of Elliott and Monticello Avenues). Our style is friendly, casual, and spontaneous.
About Faith Formation

Sojourners is a child-friendly community. Children are welcome to attend part or all of our worship services. There is a specially designated “Time with Children” offered year-round which typically consists of a music lesson or storytelling.
Our Social Justice

Social Justice is an important concern at Sojourners United Church of Christ. The Justice and Advocacy Ministry (JAM) is committed to Racial and LGBTQ Justice. The Service and Missions Ministry (SAM) is committed to funding, outreach, and specific service and missional projects (e.g. PACEM, etc.).
Land Acknowledgement: We confess that Sojourners UCC sits upon the ancestral lands of the Monacan and Monahoac Nations who were forced to flee by the white Europeans who invaded and stole their lands. We also acknowledge the lives and legacies of the many enslaved Black persons who labored in this region. We commit ourselves to work for reparations and justice for all their descendants.
